SECURITY AT KIMBERLEY POLICE STATION CAST INTO SPOTLIGHT FOLLOWING AN APPARENT SUICIDE INCIDENT Kimberley - Police bosses are set to be taken to task over a lack of security and surveillance cameras at Kimberley's largest police station situated in Phakamile Mabija Road. According to insiders this morning's discovery of a man's body hanging from a section of the building has fuelled concerns raised in the past. Police have opened an inquest docket and are investigating how the deceased had gained access to the building. "The provincial building is well secured whilst a building which houses units such as the serious and violent crimes unit and others is not being taken care of," lamented the source.
