POSTMASBURG - ALLEGED KILLER DRIVER STILL AT LARGE


The driver of the tipper truck that crashed into a Postmasburg home and killed a family of three is still at large. Cops are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the freak accident that happened in Maranteng, Newtown yesterday. 

The runaway tipper truck burst through a wall, flattened another vehicle and came to a standstill in the yard.  It is alleged that the driver fled the horrific scene.

Upon a media enquiry of the Kalahari Memorandum, Police Communications Officer, Warrant-Officer Nomvuyo Makoloi, confirmed that the alleged killer driver is still at large.

“No arrest has been made in relation to the culpable homicide case which occurred on 27 September 2021 in Postmasburg,” Makoloi, said in a press statement.  In the meantime, police investigations are continuing.

6 LIFE SENTENCE FOR 27YEAR OLD

DURBAN - The Mtunzini High Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man to six terms of life and 142 years’ imprisonment on Friday for multiple rapes and robberies in Nongoma and uMlazi.
