Meet - Dr Motsamai John Modise, inspirational and trailblazing South African Police Service officer. The first police officer in the Northern Cape Province to obtain two PHd’s. Dr Modise holds the following academic qualifications:
I. Baccalaureus Technologiae in Policing (Tshwane University of Technology)

II. Magister Technologiae in Policing (Tshwane University of Technology)

III. Master of Education in Education Management (UNISA - University of South Africa)

IV. Master of Management (Southern Business School)

V. Doctor of Education in Education management (UNISA - University of South Africa)

VI. Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration (Nelson Mandela University)
Dr Modise had also published two articles with accredited journals namely: ALTERNATION interdisciplinary Journal for the Study of the Arts and Humanities in Southern Africa Edition 32(2020) and JUST AFRICA – All Africa Journal of Criminal Justice Vo5 No2 (2020). The third article will be published in the third quarter of 2021. Dr Modise is a Master Human Resource People Practitioner with South Africa Board of People Practice – (SABPP is the professional body for HR practitioners in South Africa, as well as quality assurance body for HR learning provision). 

He is a Deputy Director in the police attach to Human Resource Development (Training) in the NC Province. He regard Education as superior power and it gives “One” the key to unlock knowledge of this incredible World and empower oneself. I encourage young people, women and man NOT to let adversity and challenges deter them. I have had those who have accepted me, helped me become better, and there have been some rejections that stung so hard but I have never gave up on my DREAM. “Overall I’d say I have certainly grown a thick skin.”

Limpopo traffic officer shoots and kills girlfriend, then kills himself A 45-year-old traffic officer from Bela-Bela municipality in Limpopo allegedly shot and killed his 30-year-old girlfriend with his service pistol on Tuesday before turning the gun on himself. SOUTH AFRICAN-AMERICAN TYCOON TO LAUNCH COVID 19 AND CANCER VACCINE INITIATIVE.

South African-American business tycoon Patrick Soon-Shiong has announced the launch of an SA Covid-19 and cancer vaccine initiative. Soon-Shiong and President Cyril Ramaphosa revealed the ambitious initiative during a virtual press briefing on Thursday. It is a partnership between NantWorks LCC, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), SA Medical Research Council (SAMRC), Centre for Epidemic Response and Innovation (CERI), and the universities of Cape Town, Witwatersrand, Stellenbosch and KwaZulu-Natal.  Soon-Shiong is a billionaire, bioscientist and media guru. 6 LIFE SENTENCE FOR 27YEAR OLD

DURBAN - The Mtunzini High Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man to six terms of life and 142 years’ imprisonment on Friday for multiple rapes and robberies in Nongoma and uMlazi. Lindokuhle Zungu was convicted of rape, housebreaking with intent to commit rape and robberies.
