Yet another dodgy multimillion-rand project has surfaced in the Eastern Cape, where contractors have allegedly been paid R18.9 million of the R27 million budget for a shoddy sport centre that has been under construction since 2018.

Construction of the Matatiele Sport Centre in ward 20 of the Matatiele Local Municipality's Harry Gwala township began on 8 October 2018, and was earmarked for completion a year later in October 2019.

SOUTH AFRICAN-AMERICAN TYCOON TO LAUNCH COVID 19 AND CANCER VACCINE INITIATIVE.

South African-American business tycoon Patrick Soon-Shiong has announced the launch of an SA Covid-19 and cancer vaccine initiative. DURBAN - The Mtunzini High Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man to six terms of life and 142 years’ imprisonment on Friday for multiple rapes and robberies in Nongoma and uMlazi. Lindokuhle Zungu was convicted of rape, housebreaking with intent to commit rape and robberies.
