ILLEGAL FIREARMS DISCOVERED BY LAW-ENFORCEMENT AGENTS


This morning on 27 January 2022, two members of Pretoria K9 unit were conducting patrols at Pretoria West when they noticed a suspicious looking vehicle with three men inside. The vehicle was stopped and searched together with the occupants. 
An AK 47 rifle with 154 rounds and 9mm firearm with one magazine and 12 live rounds were discovered inside the vehicle. All three occupants were arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and are expected to appear before Court soon.
The SAPS Management in Gauteng Province commends the vigilance and prompt response by members while performing their duties.

SOUTH AFRICAN-AMERICAN TYCOON TO LAUNCH COVID 19 AND CANCER VACCINE INITIATIVE.

South African-American business tycoon Patrick Soon-Shiong has announced the launch of an SA Covid-19 and cancer vaccine initiative. Soon-Shiong and President Cyril Ramaphosa revealed the ambitious initiative during a virtual press briefing on Thursday. 6 LIFE SENTENCE FOR 27YEAR OLD

DURBAN - The Mtunzini High Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man to six terms of life and 142 years’ imprisonment on Friday for multiple rapes and robberies in Nongoma and uMlazi. Lindokuhle Zungu was convicted of rape, housebreaking with intent to commit rape and robberies.
