MANHUNT FOR ALLEGED ROAD RAGE SHOOTING


The Police in Sekgosese, Limpopo are looking for a couple who allegedly shot two men at Roerfontein village during an apparent incident of road rage that took place on Saturday, 01 January 2022.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a male suspect was allegedly called to the scene by his girlfriend who apparently reported to him that she was deprived of her motor vehicle keys by one of the motorist against whom vehicle she bumped.

The suspect, upon his arrival at the scene and without uttering any word, shot the two men who are said to be neighbours and fled the scene in a white Nissan NP 200 vehicle.

A manhunt has since been launched for the two suspects and anyone with information that can assist should contact the Investigating Officer Warrant Officer David Maseakwala on 079 809 0993 or Crime Stop number 0860010111 or nearest police station or submit a tip-off on the MySAPSApp.

DURBAN - The Mtunzini High Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man to six terms of life and 142 years’ imprisonment on Friday for multiple rapes and robberies in Nongoma and uMlazi.
