SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY BREAKING WINDOWS AT THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT

PRETORIA: 05 January 2022: Police have arrested a 36-year old suspect following an incident on Wednesday morning, 05 January 2022 where police responded to reports of a man breaking the windows using a hammer, at the Constitutional Court buildings in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. It is reported that police fired a warning shot after the suspect continued to break the windows even after being ordered to stop.
He has been charged with Malicious Damage to Property.
The suspect's court appearance will be confirmed in due course.

6 LIFE SENTENCE FOR 27YEAR OLD

DURBAN - The Mtunzini High Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man to six terms of life and 142 years’ imprisonment on Friday for multiple rapes and robberies in Nongoma and uMlazi. Lindokuhle Zungu was convicted of rape, housebreaking with intent to commit rape and robberies.
